Made my hair feel as though honey had been mixed in.
To give the volume without making the hair so horribly sticky.

Heavy going and just not for me, although I will plod on to the end, which is some way off yet..
I am finding it extremely difficult to work out who is the prime being of the narration (at whatever juncture the story has reached), which isn't very far. The only conclusion I have reached is that the characters have split/dual personalities.

A good gritty read with realistic situations.
Once again Sarah hits the nail right on the head - in my opinion. Having spent a little time in West Africa in the early 1960's it is just as I saw it. Unfortunately the place has not bettered.
