I grew up listening to the Allman Bros. band & this one
0 of 1 found this helpful was the one that skydog & berry was on before the tragity in Georga! i will get alot out out of these disc , i put them on my ipod so i wont have to use the disc as much.......................
this is one of the best allmand Bro. disc ever made , they are not the same band as they were when this was recorded, but i seen them at the N.O. Jazz Fest, and they were still as good as could be with the replacements of the lost of Gregs brother and the Bass player Berry Oakley may they be playing with the greats we lost in our time. I would still go see them just to see Dicky & greg and butch and J. johnny Johnson, let me just say, that for the age they have on them & the miles as well. they are still worthy of going to their show no matter where they are playing, they are a little different now but that is to be expected. But they still Kick a-- and i will go see them every chance i get! and Greg if you read this you still sing ( Midnight Rider ) like it is still the first time you ever sung it! Thank you for many years of all the find music you guys played at the River View in new orleans for the people that could get in to see the show. that took pride in what you guys were all about!
