A review of a recently purchased Beltronics GX65 that replaced a damaged 6 year-old Beltronics GX65
1 of 1 found this helpful I'm satisfied with my recently purchases BEL GX65. The range of operation is fine. It's relatively easy to use and it seems to perform well. My new device has been operational for 2 1/2 weeks. I worked closely with Beltronics Service Representatives (now handled by ESCORT) to adjust the Serial Number of record for my purchase as the literature and the Serial Number Tag did not match-up with the Beltronics GPS Update Software. This problem seemed to be resolved in about 2 hours. Two weeks of updates ran without interruption. Today I received an Update Software message that my subscription update authority could not be verified. I again contacted Beltronics (ESCORT) Customer Service and this problem was seemingly corrected (after 1 1/2 hours) by uninstalling and reinstalling Beltronices GPS Update Software on my two computers. Things seem to be "OK" at this time even though my new device has not displayed or sounded an alert when approaching known and visible Speed and Red Light Cameras. Perhaps these devices have been disabled and software updates do not provide a warning (if, in fact) these devices are disabled. As previously noted, I continue to be satisfied with my new Beltronics GX65.
