Fantastic system - the gig bar 2 is as easy to use as it is amazing to watch. Very simple to set up and offers 4 great effects that are easy to operat
I really like the various sound / auto modes that allow you to use any combination of lights so you don't have to have the strobes / lasers on all the time.
I was very skeptical about going with a "gig bar" - but this one finally has it figured out. The foot switch is wireless making set up and tear down easier and it also comes with a hand held remote as well.
The package i purchased came with a pair of the new gig bar 2's along with 2 - 25' foot DMX cables, Chauvet Obey 40 controller and a nice little fog machine.
The DMX controller makes everything as custom as you like - but the foot switch and remote controller options are good enough to use alone.
The master slave is great and when 2 of these units are combined - you just don't need anything else!
Very pleased with the versatility and simplicity of these units.
My only slightly negative point is the lasers could be brighter - other than that - I am very happy!
