Mounting stem hardware problems.
The shock itself is great and of good quality. The problem I had was with the mounting stem; the threads of the nuts (2) and both ends of the stem itself had excessive electro-plating on them and would not thread together without galling. I had to use taps and dies to rethread them before I could assemble the stabilizer. That, in and of itself, took some of the shine off an otherwise very good steering stabilizer. Until corrected, you will need a 7/16"-20 TPI tap and die and also a 1/2"-20 TPI tap and die to rethread (chase) the parts. Pity the poor person that does not have the necessary tooling to accomplish this. I hope his review is helpful to anyone considering this part.
Semper Fidelis.

Didn't fit. Huge time and money waste.
0 of 1 found this helpful The control arm mounting bushing(s) are to big to mount. They are 16mm bore size and the Jeep mounting perches are sized 14mm. In a word they DO NOT FIT. I do not know if I got the incorrect part for my Jeep or if they're all to large. Item shipped back for refund.
This was a lot of trouble. I had made an appt. to get them installed at a front end alignment shop.
That's when it was discovered that they would not fit.. Cost me $25.00 for their time and effort.
Bad situation ALL the way around.

Poor quality.
Gauges are of POOR quality; they are not "damped" very well. The Bourdon tubes are flimsy. i. e: I ordered two
(2) gauges. When unpackaged one read 2" Hg. and the other one read 10" Hg. static on the workbench. I presume
they were jostled (rough handling) during transit. I took them apart and recalibrated / adjusted them to zero. Most
people would not know how to do that or bother with adjustment.
The price is quite reasonable but, as always it seems, you get what you pay for.
