It gives the extra control you're looking for.
I have always favored this model of Pearce grip because it is just enough to use your smallest finger to support the gun. It gives that extra control you're looking for without creating a hang up on clothing. You only realize it is there when you hold on target and wrap ALL your fingers on the grip. The newer grip extenders that match the gen 4 are not as comfortable. There is a slight more angle to them and they hook up on clothes(and print your gun) more than I would like. This one works perfect in most Glock mags that are double stack. Great extender, I have bought many for friends. Never a complaint.
