7-Artisans 50mm f/1.1 is a great value
This lens is a bargain. It's well built and produces sharp images. Wide open, the images are not tack sharp (neither is the 50mm f/1.0 Leica Noctilux), but stopped down it is razor sharp. The bokeh is not as pleasing as the Leica, but for the money it's pretty darn good. The two images posted here were shot with a Leica M9 Monochrom and the 7-Artisans 50mm at f/1.1.

Best lens in my bag
2 of 3 found this helpful The 50mm Summilux M is probably the best lens I own. It is razor sharp and has a beautiful bokeh. It's also very smooth focusing, relatively small and lightweight. Flare and chromatic aberration are almost non-existent.

After Repair, Great Lens
I had to put a considerable amount of money into getting this lens adjusted. First it was front focusing, then back focusing. DAG camera repair got it working great, but it did not arrive in great condition.
