Not what I thought it would be like.
Blending with this pencil is difficult, which I find surprising. Sticking to stumps/oil.

Not the "Prismacolor" you've been reading about!
4 of 5 found this helpful I've been reading rave reviews about "prismacolor pencils" in every single art group I've come across, so I was SO excited to order this set. It's certainly fallen into the "high end pencil I'm not impressed with" category. NOW in all honesty the more I looked into it I found that primacolor actually has a few types of pencils and the highest reviewed one is actually not this one (it's primacolor soft core) so perhaps my theory of high end pencils will change if I decide to spend $150+ for the full set of soft cores. However, this verithin is junk. It's not smooth at all, does give vivid colors on SOME colors, but for the most part I broke my hand trying to push hard enough to get color! And blending with these, no way. Don't waste your money!
