I'd recommend a calibrated Tek400 series scope to anyone into electronics.
4 of 4 found this helpful As an EE student I was in the market for my own oscilloscope for home and had been going back and forth over which to choose as my very first. New DSO or older analog? What make, what model? Rigol is really popular right now.
After much thought I decided on a Tek475 for a couple of reasons. I feel it's the best way to get a good understanding of the operation basics of scopes and analog circuits. (In contrast to the Agilent DSO's at school that do everything for you at the press of a button.) I'm also at I high enough level where I can do repair work if anything breaks down so the 475 is perfect for that with its use of common discrete parts.
This one came in great condition for its age and was calibrated and ready to go right out of the box. In a year or so I'll likely be ready to move up to a DSO, but for now my Tek is exactly what I need and I plan on keeping it around for a long time.

My favorite 3DS game so far
2 of 2 found this helpful This is my first Fire Emblem game after hearing about the series from friends. It's been my favorite 3DS game and I'm planning to go back and get all the others the DS can play and look forward to the new release in 2016! I love the story, the gameplay is fun, and and the graphics are amazing (save for maybe the tiny 3D sprites in cutscenes which are still pretty good for a handheld system).
