Entry level system that is easy to use.
I purchased this instead of NES Classic Edition because I refuse to pay more than retail ($59.99) for it. Well, I'm glad I did. Now I can play games from ALL my old systems including (but not limited to) Sega Genesis, NES, Super NES, Atari 7800, and some of my favorite Arcade games known as "MAME" games. It would be sweet to have all the old controllers as well, but with the Bluetooth options on the Pi you can use a modern controller and simply program the controller buttons to your liking. It does take some PC experience to get things going as long as your experience includes file, copy, paste, and knowing the difference between an SD card and a USB drive (because you need both unless you connect the Pi to your network to add ROMS). I did not test the Seller's communication because everything was perfect out of the box, including instructions. Thank You for the cool gadget. The only thing I will personally add to my new system is the 3 heat syncs on the board and a cooling fan within the case. The unit does get quite warm.
