Exceeds Expectations
1 of 1 found this helpful Took this tent camping in the Blue Ridge Mountains for 4 days. This baby withstood very heavy winds and rains with not a drop inside the tent! I love that the carry case has an expandable bottom- the tent packs back up very easily- no shoving around for space. Fantastic choice for the price! Plenty of space for 2 people on a queen air mattress and their backpacks/lanterns. It has two small pockets on either side of the tent that keep your phone and keys and a water bottle off of the ground. There is a little hook at the peak of the tent to hang a light. The zipper on the exterior has 2 flaps to prevent water from leaking in to the tent- very effective! The only thing is that the zipper can catch on these flaps if you aren't mindful of them. We were able to keep the window vented a couple of inches at the top while it was raining so it didn't get stuffy in the tent. Because of the weather, I wasn't able to see what the tent is like without the rain fly on.
Note- condensation can build up on the inside of the tent walls in the mornings if it's very humid out- but I don't think this is preventable in any tent.
Only con- the stakes are more flexible than I'd like, but they held the tent steady in hard winds. They got a little bent on entry. I would just purchase some heavy duty stakes if you're a frequent camper.
