good basic parts.
Not much to say. These are probably produced on a Swiss (or Swiss style) automatic bar lathe. The strap buttons themselves are nonmagnetic and probably chrome plated brass; the chrome finish is fine. Tool marks are a little noticeable but not bad.
The screws are plated steel. I'd have given this product 5 stars except that one of the screws did not have threads formed at all. Likely minimal quality control, but these are pretty simple parts.
Considering what you'd pay for a pair in a music store, these are a great value indeed. I'd buy more if I needed them, but I'd not assume that a future order would be identical. From what I've seen these parts are sourced from multiple suppliers sharing a design. Intellectual property is not a concept that is understood in China. Vendors routinely shave off quality to meet a price point; I consider myself lucky that these buttons are not cheaper plated steel. Simple parts like this are usually OK.
The problem is lack of consistency. Parts from different suppliers will vary in quality; I would really hesitate purchasing pickups directly from China as opposed to dealing with a US distributor that would hopefully put some effort into insuring a minimal quality standards. It's just a matter of economics and a race to the bottom price wise.

good quality arbor
I used this to adapt a 1/2-20 threaded drill chuck to a wood lathe. Good quality and finish, fits and holds tight in the morse taper 2 tailstock socket. Simple item and well made.

nope
rough action, like they need lube. Three were ok but the other three were not acceptable. Sent them back. Bought others online from a parts supplier for the same money and much better quality.
