This is a very good camera for quick grab and go shooting. I bought it specifically to take with me on trips or to family functions where I wanted a camera that could fit in my pocket and I didn't have to worry about getting it wet and for that, it certainly fits the bill. There are a lot of settings but I seem to have the best luck with "Action Camera" and "Sports." The action camera setting disables the zoom but it's consistently in focus. Sport mode has a quick shutter time to reduce blur but still allows for zooming. This camera is really good for taking with you to places where you wouldn't normally have had any camera at all so for that, it's great, but it doesn't replace my main camera.
