Great Melting Pot
2 of 2 found this helpful This is a great little pot for molding your own round balls. It hold about 2 or 3 lbs of lead, and you need to use a small ladle to dip and pour. For the person who wants to make their own bullets, it's a great inexpensive way to get started. I'd never made my own round balls before, and in about 15 minutes I had it figured out. Great product.

Good value. low price
1 of 1 found this helpful Although it is made of stamped, not forged steel, it is a pretty nice ladle. It does exactly what it's supposed to do. I have seen fancier ladles, but for under ten dollars, this one does the job. It holds enough lead for two .454 round balls. I used it recently to mold a few dozen balls, and it worked fine. It's lightweight and easy to hold and pour with. For the price, it's a very nice ladle.
