Well worth it for my new vehicle's dashcam!
Perfect product for powering my dashcam from the moon roof circuit in the ceiling of my new car. The 12v. is present whenever the switch is turned to "accessory" or whenever the vehicle is running. The 5v. line hangs out from under the header with the USB plug on it, about 6" long. Reaches and powers the dashcam automatically. No need for the bulky voltage adapter circuit that was incorporated into the accessory plug that came with the camera...and no need to plug & unplug the accessory plug in the dash or the console because that outlet is "hot" all the time..

Perfect!
A previous purchase of a time-delay relay (on a printed-circuit board) was very disappointing. When power was applied, it tripped its relay for a split-second before entering the delay period. That split-second trip defeated the purpose it was intended for. In initial tests, this relay does not trip in that manner. Actual installation will occur soon; it appears it will do the job just fine.
This relay is definitely high quality.

Works Great
Bought this as a replacement for an X-10 video adapter that went bad. I was amazed that it worked; years ago I bought one but never could get it to work (don't know where that one went). However, this time it's plug-n-play worked fine without having to load any special drivers on either of two machines I tried it on - Windows 7 and Windows XP. I am inputting video from security cameras - fed to the PC every 90 seconds from one of 11 cameras passed through a 16-camera multiplexer...each photo is then picked up by a program and uploaded to a server for internet viewing. Works great.
