Does not rust, has the bits you need, holds up.
I keep this on the boat. This is the second one, the first was lost. The first never rusted even though I keep it on board my boat which is moored in salt water.

How to properly repair your map lights
1 of 1 found this helpful This is the harness that includes the switches and sockets for the map lights in the overhead console of 2001 and similar ram pickup trucks. Mine Were both broken and would sometimes come on when driving. This fixes that and takes about 30 minutes to do.

Works fine in my boats lights
My boat has a 24 volt electrical system. The lights have two festoons for high and 1 lower watt for low. These are used for the “high”. Brighter than the regular bulbs and a good match for the color.
These have another benefit. They continue to be just as bright whether the batteries are fully charged or depleted. This is really important for installation in a boat.
