Excellent value.
Probably the best bang for the bucks in a bandsaw with 12" resaw capacity. The only minor issue I had is that the edges of the cast iron table are kinda sharp the way it comes from the factory. Sharp enough to cut yourself actually, but a few minutes with some emery cloth softened them nicely. Other than that, no complaints at all.
I use it almost exclusively for preparing turning blanks in both dry and green wood, and as with any saw, the quality of the blades matters enormously. The 1/2" blade that comes with the saw is nothing special, as expected, so replace that with better quality blades and the saw will run quietly and almost totally vibration-free.
The blade tension indicator isn't especially reliable, as is the case with almost all such devices except on really high-dollar industrial machines with auto-tensioners, so it's best to research how to tension a blade properly.
Assembly instructions and Owner's Manual are fairly detailed and quite clearly written, which is not real common with Chinese imports, so that's a bonus too.
