Brilliant second book of the series my favourite yet
Absolutely brilliant as always.
A book about Mia's revenge what could possibly go wrong...apart from a huge shit storm could go wrong. First of all I love that Jay Kristoff introduced us to a lovely flashback from Nevernight which actually helped me greatly. Also can we just appreciate the elegant writing and vocabulary that is used in this book. It honestly so beautiful I can't get enough of Jay Kristoff's writing and how many beautifully poetic ways he can use the word 'Fuck'. I love that this book has a love interest between Mia and Ashlinn which honestly was so unexpected im still shook. But I love that it makes Mia so much more human and relatable even if she is a little, mean, killing machine. This book is filled to the brim of twist and turns and friendship and brutal murder. However Jay Kristoff...I am very hurt that you would leave us on a cliffhanger like that, specially your witty comment at the end. Im deeply hurt, but I guess im just going to have to wait around for a 3rd book.
