Back and runnin
had an old Kodiak 400 that had sat around unused for years. i decided to get it going again and discovered that the fuel jets were plugged up. I cleaned most of them, but some I could not get out. I had three options: Buy an OEM carburetor ($200), buy a cheap Chinese aftermarket ($70), or buy one being parted out. I took a chance. It looked pretty rusty and dirty, but the seller said it worked. Got the carburetor, cleaned the jets and gave the whole thing a bath in diesel. Put it back together, installed on four wheeler and after a little playing with the air mixture: vroom, vroom back in business. $39.00 is a heck of lot better that $200.00 or even $70.00. I am very happy. Thank you so much. May be looking at that front end final drive you have.
