The Nikon D3400, Easy to carry around
2 of 2 found this helpful While I have not yet put it to the real test, the few photos I have taken with it were very sharp and that's what I was looking for in a camera. Light weight, easy to use, exceptional clarity. It will be put to good use in September as I visit the ancient city of Cremona, Italy and home to the greatest violin maker, Antonio Stradivari. I actually bought the camera for that purpose. My arsenal also includes a Canon D30 with a compact telephoto lens, but weighs at least 3 lbs, heavy to lug around and clarity and sharpness of photos not as good as the Nikon.
