Hard to find in such good shape
2 of 2 found this helpful Do I recommend a piece of electronic arcana that's been off the market since Reagan was president? Certainly, if your interests are anything like mine. I like to stretch my "elderly" brain to keep it functioning and revisiting these increasingly hard-to-find Heathkits is just the ticket. My current hope is to program the ET-3400 to send MIDI commands via a parallel-to-serial converter to my analog synth. That will be a challenge with only 512 bytes of RAM to work with, but I think brief sequences might be generated and "played," once I puzzle out the timing and the start/stop bits. Should keep me off the streets for a while.
