Tamale Soup?
The directions call for too much water. Two cups made the ingredients very soupy. The corn meal that I assume was supposed to be the pie part of the product, settled to the bottom. The flavor wasn't bad, but there was very little meat, a lot of corn, and something in the spice mixture made me feel a little sick and bloated. I had two packages of this mix, so I made it a second time, just to be sure I wasn't missing something, and got the same result.

Bessie brought to life
For those of you who are Bessie Smith fans, this book is a must read!
Chris Albertson walks the fine line along objective and often gritty details of Ms. Smith's life, all the while treating her with the empathy and dignity that an artist of her great talent deserves.
This book also offers a glimpse into the world of the black entertainer before and during the Depression with it's accompanying joys, frustrations, and down right hardships.

Helping my dog's itching
I have a German Shepherd with very sensitive skin and stomach. I have been giving him AllerG-3 for about a month now; and his "itchy" skin seems to be improving, plus it doesn't create stomach or digestive problems. I will definitely purchase more for him in the future.
