Rode NT1-A Large Diaphragm Condenser Microphone
1 of 1 found this helpful This is a nice microphone. I process it with a DBX ProVocal processor to give it the sound I want. I wish it included some pattern selection, but it does not. However, for the money, it's a great sounding mic. As with ANY condenser mic, be careful in terms of how closely you work it--it "pops" pretty easily when using it for vocals. I use it as a voice mic for my amateur radio station.

Apogee Microphone
This is a great little mic. I design and build radio stations and recording studios and have had the luxury of using some of the best mics in the world (and their evil counterparts) and this one is a great mic for the money.
We use it as sound reinforcement when recording guitar tracks for use with videos on YouTube, but it performs well enough (and is directional enough) to be used as a voice mic for narrations or commercials.
