Great Modem For Xfinity Subscribers

Great replacement for the Xfinity modem I was renting for about $15/month. The main difference between the 2 is you need a separate router for the CM1150V which I already had. Set up through Xfinity took just a few minutes. I found that streaming seemed to be as good or better than with the Xfinity modem. The modem & router handled multiple devices(laptops, smart phones, Roku, etc.) with no issues. As we still have a land line, the voice part of the modem was an added plus. All in all the CM1150V will more than pay for itself in the long run.

A movie to watch over and over again.

My son loaned the movie out and never got it back. I knew it was out of print so when I found it on ebay, I had to have it. I can identify with the movie. I grew up during those times and my family was from that section of the Bronx. The church and the school looked so familiar to me but did not physically resemble E187th Street. After seeing the movie a few times and then reading the credits at the end, I realized it was filmed in my old neighborhood. The church was the one I got married in and the school was the one I graduated from, both in Queens. DeNiro did a great job of making this story realistic. The soundtrack was perfect too. It is truly a Bronx tale, even if it was filmed mostly in Queens.
