Exceeded my expectations...
Shipping by China Post worried me initially, but it arrived in half the projected time. The gauge of the stainless steel metal was substantial, so my second concern was eliminated. Then I put it to use. Wow...was I surprised. The container served its function with Flying Colors. The design on the outer surface of the canister proved to be a plus as it provided just the right amount of surface tension to prevent any slippage from my wet hands. Let's face it, in the morning I am still half asleep before I get that first cup of tea into my system. Another plus was how easy it was to get the proper quantity of tea out of the container. No problems here. The designers saw to it to be sure the top of the container was constructed smoothly so that the tea literally just pours out with no obstructions. When you're down to the last few grams of tea, this becomes important. And to refill the container this becomes important in that there is no cross-contamination of tea batches. Finally the last concern was met - the inner lid. Yes, the inner lid seals to provide an air tight container. I even accidentally dropped the tea canister and my worst fear was for naught. The tea did not spill out on the floor. The lid stayed firmly in place providing that air tight seal that is so important. Yes, I am buying several more...

Not up to standards
Stanley engineers need to redesign blade removal and insertion. There is nothing worse than having your blade fail when trimming an expensive piece of veneer. Not only do I use utility knives in my business but I collect them. I really wanted the FatMax to come up to the standards of other Stanley products, but it just doesn't. I fiddled, I practiced working on the FatMax but to no avail. The FatMax failed. If you are in the market for a retractable utility knife, I suggest the Irwin retractable which has a great blade insertion/removable system My second recommendation is the Husky retractable. It is the lighter of the two and Home Depot stands behind the Husky 100% no questions asked. My plea is to the Stanley Engineers, bring the FatMax up to the standards of your other tools.
