Legere Plastic Reeds
If you haven't try the Legere Reeds, you are missing something. They are not subject to humidity, They are washable and always ready, I just love them.
I find it hard to go back to regular reed, I play a Legere Classic 2 1/4, yes
2 1/4. The beauty of those reeds is just that, you can choose by increments of 1/4. A reed for a person that plays often will last for a good month. The bad side is that the best one of the line ''Classic'' are the price of a box of ten regular reeds. Bu t for me an amateur that plays for hobby, a reed will last 6 months or moore.. Jazz Upright Bass (DVD, 2008)
Great DVD that explains the basics and advanced techniques.
However this is not for a student starting from scratch.
Excellent music to play along.
Booklet with written music is a little bit too small.
Excellent for the advanced student.
