In the winter, my finger tips become dry and cracked. I put ointment on the finger tikps, cover with a band aid and then the finger cot. This is much better than using a latex glove. In the short time I have used these cots, several have split . These have not been the consistently durable. Some I can wear all day with no splitting. Price was good. I willhave to see how the cots in the remainder of the box work before I decide if I will buy again.
