Motion Pro Black Vinyl Speedometer Cable for Honda GL1000 Gold Wing 1975-1979

    Nice flexible speedo cable
It's shocking the difference between my old one and the new cable. Basically the difference between uncooked and cooked spaghetti. The new cable is nice and flexible and fit like a glove. Nice that it came with a cap over the gear driven end as well to protect it until installation. Haven't tried it yet on the road but I can't imagine it won't work. I lubricated it as recommended by the manual and it fit nicely on both ends. Overall very satisfied

Very good, strong Velcro but thick!
This Velcro was perfect for what I needed but it is very thick. That's my only complaint. Other than that it's very strong and holds tight without much wiggling...

NEW Scott Grip Glue Motorcycle ATV Watercraft Dirt Bike Handlebar Grip Adhesive

Depends on your bars I guess...
I followed the directions to a T. The bars I have are knurled on the clutch side and I didn't need glue on the throttle. I figured the knurled would provide even more grip but after a full 24 hours, the glue had set but it only took a small amount of twisting to have it come loose. I put the rest of the tube (I guess there's enough for 2 grips) on the bar again and let it set an additional 24 hours. Still a bit loose. I think you can probably do the same thing with hair spray or spray adhesive but I wanted to give proper glue a shot. Maybe my bars were too new and not roughed up enough but the kneeling should have been enough. Just didn't really do the job for my bars/grips...might work in other situations but I can't speak to that...
