For a 2.9 year old Granddaughter?
Read all the Disney movie reviews and the Lion King has one of the highest ratings of all the animated Disney films. Yes, there were so reservations about Musafa, Simba's father's death in the movie and whether those scenes are age appropriate. Many had cautioned that movie was much more suited for 4 to 5 year old. However, the story, music and the characters are so good I decided to give it a shot. First time through her father watched the movie with her to help explain the scene so as not to frighten her. I would recommend this if you decide to purchase for child younger than 4. Love the movie and have no reservations at all.
