Perfect way to avoid spending big bucks on a new mag float

Gets the job done but not the greatest
Although I like the heat shrink feature the length of the metal where you can crimp the wire in is very short compared to other similar products I have used. So far I have used only the 10-12 ga bullet connectors and I didn't like that when connected the plastic insulation did not fully cover the metal connector--which would lead to a short circuit in some situations.

Good audio quality
Nice unit, the remote is not as nice as my GTP-500II remote is, but since the 500II's power supply went belly up and I needed a pre-amp that worked to get back to functionality, I'm very happy with the GTP-500. Good sound quality and the FM unit works well--I'm in a remote area and it does a good job pulling stations in.
