Lousy design

So here’s the deal. These are plastic wearing on plastic. The cam lobes are flat within 2 months and the door won’t fall to the closed position. It’s a flawed factory design, one that shouldn’t have made it off the drawing board. I haven’t found an alternative part yet. Guess I’ll make one out of steel.
