For a book on growing peach trees, THIS IS IT!
I went to a fruit tree workshop hosted by Dr. Larry Stein in a peach orchard, and he was incredible both in his depth of knowledge and patience with dumb questions. He is a great teacher. So, I found and bought his book on ebay, and it does not disappoint. I live out in the country and plan on putting in a peach orchard, and this is the manual I am going to use for a guide.
I highly recommend this book for quality of writing and productions, as well as the outstanding job Dr. Stein did on the content.

Finally Found Them
used to buy these socks at walmart, academy, etc., then they quit carrying them. These cost more but they last longer and don't shrink, and my feet love them.

A really big help for a newbie beekeeper
I took delivery on three packages of bees and populated three hives about a month ago. The info I picked up on U tube was helpful, but sometimes contradictory.
This new edition of Beekeeping For Dummies has really back-filled the gaps in U tube, and is a ready reference. It is well written and has great photos and illustrations. Well designed, well written, I highly recommend it.
