MY-C-GGR: Custom cape for Bandai Star Wars General Grievous 1/12 scale Model Kit

Excellent alternative to the cape originally supplied with the Model kit

The Cape has a great feel to it plus it has General Greivous's emblem on the back. It's a much better option than the cheap paper cape supplied with the model kit. The only negative is there are no pouches sewn in the inside of the cape to store his lightsabers as shown in the Revenge of the Sith. The cape has a simple but clasp to put it on the kit however the clasp was slightly damaged for the Post office carelessly stuffing it in my mailbox so please be careful with it.

A highly detailed 6-inch figure.

I'm amazed by how much detail Damtoys was able fit onto a 1/12 scale body. The figure comes in at just over 6 inches when standing straight up. It's also well articulated except around the shoulders where the fabric, and the lack of a true butterfly joint prevent the figure from being able to cross its arm across its chest. The limited shoulder articulation makes it impossible for the figure to shoulder the gun at eye level. The figure does have double jointed elbows, knees and a what appears to be a double ball peg where the neck meets the head and where the neck meets the body allowing for expressive and flexible head posing. You can pose the head almost vertically even with the hood on. Another weak articulation point is the ankle joint which is simple ball joint with limited side to side ankle pivot but has decent but not great front to back movement. The weak ankle movement does make it hard but not impossible for the figure to stand. I recommend using a Tamashii nations figure stand or MAFEX stand with the figure for more dynamic posing. Despite the limited shoulder and ankle articulation I'm very much enjoying this figure and am looking forward to Damtoys future Pocket Elite series figures.
