Superb Voltage Regulation
I bought this to run a house-wide system of 6 volt motion-sensing LED lights from a single battery. This unit is very stable and regulates a 6-volt or 12-volt battery output to provide the needed 5 VDC to run all these lights. No matter what happens at its input, voltage wise, the output remains where you put it. So as your source battery voltage slowly declines with discharge, the output voltage stays steady, resulting in light brightness being the same at all times. I especially like the LED 7-segment display that shows you input and output voltages at the touch of a button, and also allows you to change the output voltage up or down in 0.1 VDC increments. The unit does not heat up at all when down-converting, say, 12 VDC to 5 VDC, so it makes the conversion very efficiently. I highly recommend this little unit, which is a great value for the money.

Panel Cable Connector
I have four 12 volt solar panels that I needed to combine in parallel. Using two-to-one combiners requires three of them to combine each of the two leads of four panels, costs more, takes up a lot of space and has bunch of connection points, any of which can fail. This little combiner makes paralleling four solar panels very simple and it works like a charm. I have also paralleled four sets of four 12 volt panels connected in series (48 volts) using this combiner. All sixteen panels are connected using only two of these 1-to-4 combiners (one for positive and one for negative). These have been in use for over a year and have handled the current and voltage with no problems.

Great Watt Meter, But Not Accurate At low wattages.
Works well at high-watt levels and is very accurate, but at lower levels (say below 100 watts or so) it is VERY INACCURATE. Otherwise, I would have rated this five stars instead of four.
