War and combat as seen through the eyes of those who were there
A great read about the true feelings of being in combat and the respect that often occurs between foes.

Heavyweight with great features
1 of 1 found this helpful Well written. It is interesting to read this after watching the shows produced from this novel. The book as printed is rather large, close to school text book size. This extra girth does allow room for drawings and explanations of instruments used in veterinary practice back then. Overall, a good read.
