This is a very unusual CD that contains both new and old cowboy music.
good condition great tunes!The CD is a mix of both new music and old style music. The Cowboy lifestyle is reflected in the music and the CD delivers a loneliness and isolation that cowboys had to content with 150 years ago. The songs also give the listener a feeling for nature and the environment. A few of the songs are love ballads well set with the theme of the movie. A few of the songs were too old and dated to be really reflective of he movie but overall I really like the CD and the listener gets a relaxed feeling when listening to it. Best song in my opinion is the one written and sung by Steve Earle about observing the Eagle hunting the Salmon and his life alone in the mountains. Another great song is the one by Lucinda Williams. Both are great artist with unique styles.
