Motorcycle throttle lock
Not what they were intended for, I'm sure. But I had heard about the infamous "Caterpillar O-ring" used as a motorcycle throttle lock for some time. I had tried several other versions and none of them worked very well. I used this on a recent trip and it works much better than the mechanical throttle locks that cost anywhere from $30 to $50. This $.70 o-ring is more controllable, and really works best as a "wrist rest" kind of thing. I can't say the same for everyone, but it worked well for me.

Direct replacement with perfect fit
Glad to get a correct replacement. We leave ours up year round, and it was beginning show stains, etc. The new one looks great, just like new again!
