Many improvements over the 2.0.

Compared to the 2.0 I have, the 3.0's trigger is way better. Tho removing the trigger spring on the 2.0 made it much better so it can be cured. The 3.0 shoots to the point of aim where my 2.0 shot way low. The non-resetting safety of the 3.0 is also an improvement, tho a little super glue cures that on the 2.0. I don't need no stinkin safety. I haven't done a side by side comparison, but the 3.0 does seem to be more powerful. Opening the hopper on the 3.0 was counter intuitive, but once I figured it out it's easy. My friend was fighting with his so apparently it's not just me. Neither of us read the manual, maybe it's spelled out. The hopper latch on my 2.0 broke, hopefully this one lasts longer.

Not as described, these are nicad batteries.

The description clearly states that these are lithium ion batteries and shows a photo of a factory Craftsman battery, but after ordering the description and photo changes to an aftermarket nicad battery and that's what I recieved.

Ok if you can get it cheap, not worth much more than $100.

I bought it for under $60, then it jumped to $250. For $60 I'd do it again, but absolutely not at $250. The price at the local parts store is $150, I don't know why the price on this jumped. The lower fitting for the power steering hose is mounted lower than the original, I had to bend it and trim the plastic holder to get the hose to fit. Also, read the fine print on the "same day shipping", that's only during their east coast hours Mon-Fri. The PS cooler portion seems to have narrower tubes than the original. Probably not a problem for most people, but if you run your truck hard off-road or in other situations that puts a high load on the steering it might not be adequate.
