Not for systems with uneven water pressure
Used with pump-driven water supply. Very quiet until pressure got close to the turn-on pressure level. Then it got very noisy until shutoff. I have other similar valves in the same system that have been virtually silent in operation for about twenty years! This is the second one I've tried (different manufacturer) with the same result.
