Vista Restore then Win7 upgrade a 'piece of cake' easy
Purchased from eBay seller who knew how to set up the System Restore to automatically begin as soon as I plugged in my 'new' laptop. ALL programs bundled from Acer worked in Win7 except one: the special hard drive data encryption program. Besides, better such programs available now as shareware or freeware.
Even with this Intel Core-Duo, full Restore took over 3 hours. Only needed to occasionally monitor install as are few questions needed to be answered by new user. After that was complete, bought on-line the Anytime Upgrade from Microsoft. Win7 Home Premium program automatically found any needed driver updates at Microsoft website.

High quality felt and ideal glue for this job.
Felt is high quality, even thickness, resilient to deformation and the EXACT size needed. The glue included is perfect. However, use caution in that it sets up/ hardens quickly.
