It Doesn't Get Better
1 of 1 found this helpful Before television, "Lum & Abner" was one of the best programs on radio for many years, equaling "Amos & Andy" in popularity. In the early 15-minute episodes Chester 'Chet' Lauck and Norris 'Tuffy' Goff provided the voices for every character on the program except for the occasional female voices. Later, when they did once a week 30-minute programs, they had regulars and many guest stars. The focus is on the people of fictional town of Pine Ridge, Arkansas in the Jot 'em Down Store. These recordings will be enjoyed by people of all ages, especially those of us who are old enough to have heard the original broadcasts in the 30's & 40's.

The Best
James Cagney is by far my favorite actor and Public Enemy is one of his very best movies. He preferred to do musicals, following a very successful early career as a dancer in Vaudeville. Yes, he was one of the most talented hoofers in Hollywood. But, he was so good in every type of character role that producers made him one of their favorite gangster-type actors.

Excellent Value
Probably the only 3.5" USB floppy drive that works with Windows 8.1. It's slower than a CD drive or DVD drive as expected but it works fine.
