Good Resource for Hispanic Young Women.
Phyllis Tashlik did a great service to her students by allowing them to dive into and write through this project. They brought important themes of their cultural and gender experiences to light. They crystalized their experiences by giving them words, either by prose, poetry, or transcription of legends. They connected to their elders and ancestry through curiosity about the stories of their lineage.
There is more polished professional writing by Hispanic writers out there, but this book holds an important place in the genre by modeling how amateur writers do make a difference and are important. By taking this step, the contributors have begun a writer's journey and would hopefully find themselves among the accomplished professional writers of this or other genres some day.

Asset to my diet
The probiotics and antioxidants are working well in my daily nutrition routine. Raw Reserve also tastes good -- has a ginger flavor, and I like ginger.

Crack is amazing
This styling product is amazing as a thermal styling preparation. Not much of the product is needed in each application. It smells great - sort of like green apples. The texture is good and it spreads well in wet hair. After flatironing my hair with the product in it, my straightened hair looks shiny and has a lightness to it from the product not being heavy. My previous tubes lasted a long time. I think this was the third time I restocked after running out. I wouldn't want to use a different product for flatironing. If I don't want to flatiron, the product also gives my curly hair a bit of a finished look My hair is really crazy though, so there is only so much a product can improve it.
