Hard to find vintage transistors
These worked well to replace the originals because they were the exact same kind. This type transistor is becoming very rare and I was happy to find an exact replacement.

Just the thing for larger connectors
I found the Brute Hammer Crimper Tool just the thing to crimp some lugs onto 6 ga. cable. It handles sizes above and below that and is what you need for occasional use instead of professional crimpers costing hundreds of dollars. I had better results chucking it in a vise to make the crimp instead of using a hammer. (This is an alternate method as explained in the instructions.) Glad to have made the purchase!

This magazine seems to work as well as the OEM version at a lower price. Enough said?
