Awesome travel tripod!
1 of 1 found this helpful I had previously purchased the much smaller Joby 325 Stand, and was not happy with it. It was to small and not adjustable enough.
This 1k kit with ball head is exactly what I was after!
Nice and compact, ball head is quick to set the camera level. The head is actually very nice and appears to be cast from aluminium and operates smoothly.
Throw it in your backpack and never miss a long exposure opportunity!

The author has a very informal writing style, making the book very easy and enjoyable to read.
This book is like attending a photography class! Loads of great information without getting too scientific. The author even has exercises to get you outside and learning to use your camera.
This book is applicable to ANY camera with manual controls not just folks with DSLR cameras, with some information specifically for compact camera users.
Great size and durable covers make it handy to throw in your backpack, It is called a field guide after all!
Great book for the beginner or an enthusiast looking to brush up on skills. Highly recommended!

Blur motion in broad daylight.
Exactly what I was after. Very good quality at a fair price.
I was able to have a play with the ND1000 filter in my lunch break today and could easily get nice long exposures on a bright sunny day.
The included photos are nothing special, just an example of the effect that can be achieved with this sort of filter.
