It gets some of my locals
0 of 1 found this helpful I'm over 20 miles from local antenna farm and there is horizon blockage as the next street towards the stations is on a high ridge. I was confused about how to aim the antenna during channeI scan. I need either a larger antenna for indoor use, or one that has a more powerful amplifier. After buying it I learned the amplifier was only 18dB gain. Also the short rabbit ears make it weak on FM. So I searched eBay more & came across VHF rabbit ears with UHF loop and a 36 dBi amplifier, rated to 50+ miles. It also gets up to 80 miles for good FM stereo on my Sony HD table radio, & is only about $15 shipped. So, much better than this GE for reception, but with a lower quality construction.

Rand McNally Commercial Atlas
This atlas is in 2 volumes. The first is maps of all states & inset maps of cities, and vol. 2 is populations. It is all for the USA. Volume 1 maps show every town in USA-120,000 places & gives populations for most of them in volume 2. Very complete. The population volume uses very small print, so a magnifier is likely needed. This 2 book set retails for $395, but on eBay or half.com might be found for under $10!
