Excellent Device but Not for Dummies!

I know people that has returned this device because of there unwillingness or possibly inability to learn about the features of this device. It is an excellent device and will serve you well once you have learned how to operate it and the accompanying software. The screen is smaller than the competition but much clearer in the sunlight and lets face it we probably wont be using it in a cave. I would have to compare the learning curve to going from Windows XP to going to Windows 7.0. If you cant devote that much time and personal attention to it you probably wont get the full use of the device. The map subscription that is available with this is a must have and the geocaching features are excellent. It is not a great device for on the road navigating however it will get you there. Just listen for the little tones to alert you when to turn. Bottom line is just buy it and set aside a couple hours to become adjusted to the basics and make yourself use it as frequently as possible and within in no time you will become a pro with a device that is very powerful. BTW get the rechargeable batteries and car charger. They will pay for themselves very quickly.
