No dancing involved it's a jig
3 of 3 found this helpful Ok I was very intimidated when this jig arrived, very heavy but extremely well made, to the novice at first and even second sight it seems complicated. After watching a few YouTube videos I had the courage to use it... I got an old door and spent an afternoon happily routing chopping the door to bits fitting sash locks. It's brilliant and it will last a life time.
Things that had me stumped... the locks I had were not on the measurement charts so I didn't know which plates to use. Not
A problem phone trend technical depart they will give you all the advice you need without hanging around on the phone all day.
Also make sure you find dead centre of your door otherwise your lock will look off centre, a little practise on an old door will help you. Really it's easy when you know how!

It cuts holes
Durable and well made, don't do what I did and the wrong size!

Heavy doors
Don't struggle hanging heavy doors, this bit of kit will pay for itself, unlike your paid help this stand won't argue back or moan under the strain. Need a hand buy a trend stand.
