Having A Nice Visual Tv Is Half A Theater...
1 of 1 found this helpful I had a Harmon Kardon receiver from 1998 and at the time it was their top model. In 2014 yes it lasted that long without any issues. The receiver started having a humming noise coming through the speakers so I was in love with it's performance so I attempted to get it fixed. Way to much money to repair so I ventured off into the many years that receivers have upgraded and added features. After 2 weeks of research and countless hours of searching I came across the ONKYO TX-SR806. It has everything that I wasn't looking for in a receiver, like 5 HDMI's tons of sound options, THX certified which I use everyday. Even commercials are in THX/Dolby Digital unbelievable. The ability to tune each individual speaker did I mention 7.1 channels. 7 band equalizer for each speaker individually. On screen display. Calibration mic which you can use on initial setup. I recommend it when 1st setting up but after that there are hours of fine tuning and features to play with. You will not be disappointed. This by far the greatest addition to my 70" Sony TV home theater and will be yours too. The only down side if you can call it that is I have my receiver in a closed cabinet so she gets hot. It doesn't affect it's performance but I recently bought a external magnetized top mounted fan that keeps her nice and cool. If you have the unit in open air cabinet you won't have that problem...

2 of 2 found this helpful Where I live it cost $34.00 for a dual pack of Kodak ink cartridges. That includes 1-30 black and 1-30 color cartridge. For $9.99 I received 2-30XL color cartridges and 3-30XL black cartridges. The key phrase is XL meaning extra large because the cartridges I get at Walmart are only half full. So these cartridges are very inexpensive. They came in about 4 days, the items where packed well and fit easily in my mailbox. I opened up the packaging took out the cartridges. I then peeled off 2 pieces of protection tape and the plastic protection clip. I then installed them into my printer. After which I used the Kodak software to clean the printer nozzles and then printed a test page which was successful. Hurray no error messages. I have been printing every since. I used to tell my daughter (who is 9 and print crazy) to not print so much so fast to conserve ink and money. But at these prices I can afford to let her print as she wishes. I just printed a picture on Kodak high gloss photo paper and it looks great. Keep in mind that these are not Kodak Brand ink cartridges. But you can't tell the difference. I have only been using this ink for about 3 or 4 days so I don't know at this time how long they last. But I'm impressed enough that when my first ink cartridges run out I will purchase around $50.00 worth of cartridges. That translates to 10-color and 15-black. I will also become print crazy. WOW...
