Replacement for discontinued Cuisinart DCC-12PBRC
2 of 2 found this helpful My carafe for my Cuisinart DCC-1000 coffee maker cracked. Unfortunately, Cuisinart discontinued the replacement carafe (DCC-12PBRC) for this coffee maker. I stumbled across the Medelco website during a Google search to try and find a replacement carafe. Medelco listed the GL312 as a replacement for my coffee maker. I found it on Ebay for considerably less than ordering directly from Medelco. The GL312 works fine with my coffee maker using the short lid (two lids are included). The only thing I don't like, is how the lid attaches to the carafe. The lid has two small plastic pins that snap to the carafe. Care must be taken when removing and installing the lid, as these pins seem like they could break easily. I've just been leaving the lid attached when cleaning the carafe, and have no problems doing that. The markings on the carafe are a little off. When I make my usual 7 cups, it reads 8 cups on the carafe. This is really not an issue. Cheaper than a new coffee maker.

I think this might be a counterfeit item
I ordered this because it appeared to be a genuine Apple product based on the packaging. I used this cable for less than a month and it stopped charging my phone. Swapped it out with another known Apple cord and my phone started charging. This cord went right in the garbage. Ordered a replacement cord directly from the Apple store and I've had no further issues. Buyer beware.
