Cheap low budget tape. Not great fit without trimming.
The CHEAP two sided tape they use is lame. It is not a full length piece of tape, just a bunch of little strips of tape about a half inch wide and not enough to make caps stick to the top of bed. I wiped the truck bed with alcohol to get a clean surface for install of caps, so that is not the problem. They send two little alcohol wipes that would not be enough to do a through job, even with good prep job lame tape will not hold caps secure. I could see them in my side view mirrors flapping in the wind a few days after install. Now caps have to be removed and redone because of cheap two sided tape. How much can a full length piece of tape cost that would do the job right? Really lame and low budget.
